Christmas can be a difficult time if you or a family member is neurodivergent.

Executive functioning issues, sensory overwhelm, social anxiety, managing other people's expectations - these can all make Christmas more stressful.

With sample checklists to get you organised, this is your guide to a calmer Christmas.

When I #askADHD about their biggest challenges, working memory was one of the top responses. The bad news - it's probably always going to be an issue. The good news - there are things you can do to help.

It’s my birthday! 🥳
I've been looking into website options again recently. The one I'm using isn't really working for me, but the vast array of options is causing me problems.

Yes, I want choice, but sifting through seemingly infinite options is exhausting, and hyperfocusing on researching features, costs and benefits is taking up far more time than it should.

This choice paralysis - being unable to choose for fear of making the wrong decision, or being unable to process all the options - is really common for those of us who are Neurodivergent.

I'm going to be sending an email out about this. If you'd like to hear the best advice I've ever received about choosing things - jump on to www.navigatingneurodiversity.com.au and join the mailing list.

Today I drew a character, converted it into a cut file with some extra elements, and printed some stickers. I particularly like the hand coloured one. The text reads "I'm sorry I can't adult today. I used up all my adulting yesterday. "
